ISRI code WALNUT is similar to the grade.

Magnesium Turnings

Magnesium Turnings shall consist of magnesium turnings, borings or grindings, must be free of excessive oils & moisture, CAUTION should be exercised when handling, storing or transporting any magnesium fines.
Equivalent to ISRI code WORLD.

Scrap Magnesium Clips

Magnesium Clips shall consist of clean magnesium clippings free of other metals & foreign materials,
Must be free of excessive oils or moisture.
Equivalent to ISRI code WAFER.

Scrap Magnesium Engraver Plates

Magnesium Engraver Plates shall consist of clean sorted Magnesium engravers plates, must be free of all other metals.
Equivalent to ISRI code WINE.

Irony Magnesium Scraps

Irony Magnesium shall consist of magnesium solids contaminated with iron, must be free of excessive oils & dirt
Iron content must not exceed 10 %.

Magnesium Dross

Magnesium Dross shall consist of magnesium slag, dross, skimmings or spillings from a magnesium melting operation.

Spent Magnesium Oxide (MgO)

Spent Magnesium Oxide (MgO) shall consist of new, un-used magnesium oxide in odd lot stock or surplus inventory.

Surplus Magnesium Oxide (MgO)

Surplus Magnesium Oxide (MgO) shall consist of new, un-used magnesium oxide in odd lot stock or surplus inventory.

Magnesium Scrap

Other Magnesium Scrap shall consist of any other magnesium that is not included in the other listed grades.
